We love a good design/makeover challenge, so when podcast and video series The Delve got in touch to ask us for some advice on updating their studio, we jumped at the chance to give our two cents.
The requirements were simple; two chairs, one for the interviewer and one for the guest, and something to pop a cup of tea on in between. With such a blank canvas we could have gone wild, but when it comes to a set looking good on camera, less is always more. So, instead, we stuck to a few key elements to bring this small set together. Thankfully, we had the perfect furniture partner in DFS to support us.
Our starting point was the chairs. These are the main element in the show, so we wanted them to be as comfortable for the guests and interviewer as possible. We sourced these beautiful Altair armchairs in grey, from €389, that are crying out to be curled up in.
We loved this circular Cirque coffee table from the get-go – it’s quite retro and we love the monotone palette. Plus, the table top swivels open so you can store magazine and coffee table books inside. Gorgeous. From €879.
While we were wary of creating too much of a distraction, we couldn’t resist this stunning Reeve shelving unit, from €909. Just a few small elements added to this and it’s a real statement piece.
And that’s it! It took just three key pieces to give this studio the interior love that it deserved. A big thank you to DFS for helping us pull it all together!
