Whether you’re just window shopping, planning on making a few home adjustments or going all out on a new year splurge, we’ve got a rundown of high street pieces that are fresh on the shelves and totally on trend this week. We’ve had a look in some of our favourite retailers and have taken our pick of the interior accessories you’ll want to know about.
Botanicals at Penneys
The new Botanicals range at Penneys’ is breathing all kinds of new life into our homes this month. Palm prints and bamboo return this season but in a much more subtle way than the jungle fever we experienced a couple of seasons ago. This time around, think pastel yellows and pinks, mint greens, faded prints and loads of natural textures and materials from bamboo to rattan. The whole vibe is an altogether more grown-up version of affairs, wouldn’t you agree? We adore lots of the pieces in this collection. The Penneys interior offering just gets better and better.

Versace-Vibes at River Island
Everything about this new interiors collection from River Island says Donatella Versace to us – the patterns, the colours, the panther vase. It’s delicious. Certainly not to everyone’s liking, but if this vibe is your thing, get on this collection asap.

Large patterned planter, A3 peg board, €30
Patterned cushion, €25
Global View at Argos
We never thought Argos would be a go-to for on-trend interior pieces, but they’ve upped the ante massively this year with the launch of this outdoor collection which, by the way, works great indoors, too. We love the bright Aztec print-inspired bowls, wooden planters and rainbow-bright cushions. We’re excited to see what else this retailer has up their sleeve.
