It’s time to talk GAFF expansion and interior design…
At GAFF we do more than share pretty pics of beautiful homewares on our Instagram (though that’s definitely one of our favourite things to do). Since launching less than a year ago, we’re getting busier and busier behind the scenes each month with real-life projects, so much so, we thought you might like to know more!
This one you’ll already be aware of: GAFF is about to embark on our first series in collaboration with RTE, for a six-part room improvement show, sponsored by Moda (by Dulux). It’s called ‘The Good Room” and we’re SO EXCITED. This series takes us all over the country with the distinct challenge of transforming each homeowner’s room (be it a living room or a bedroom or a study – whatever) in just two days. We’re working to tight budgets but that’s what we’re used to; we’re all about creating the look you want for less. This means we’re scouring high street stores, embracing trends and investing only in the things that will last you a serious amount of time.
Our philosophy is all about fluid interiors: you get your statement furniture that’s totally worth spending the big bucks on, similar in ways to your wardrobe staples, and then the rest – such as your accessories and soft furnishings – can change with the seasons, with the trends or change with your mood. This is the part that shouldn’t cost a bomb.
GAFF Philosophy: Fluid Interiors
With that in mind, and on the back of a string of successful makeovers, GAFF Interiors are now available for interior design projects, be it corporate or residential. Here’s how we work:
You reach out to us. We get a sense of what you’re after and what’s involved. You tell us your absolute maximum budget for the space in question. We tell you our fee (which varies depending on the size of the project and how much time is involved).
We put together mood boards for you using Pinterest and other sites to create a blueprint for your room. You let us know what you like, what you don’t like, what’s working for you and what needs to change. You share your inspiration with us too.
We’ll go to IKEA so you don’t have to; saving relationships since 2017
We map out a step by step plan for every square inch of the room.
We go to the IKEAs and the Dunnes Stores of the world, and a whole host of other incredibly affordable high street interiors stores – as well as some online – and we do it all for you.
We can project manage everything from beginning to end and we will style it to perfection for you. You can get as involved as you want or step away from the stress and leave it to us.
We also work to suit much smaller budgets, if you’d prefer to do the majority of the work yourself but still have us consult on what you should do with your space. For this, we meet once or twice, we create the mood board and then we hand you a definitive shopping list – with prices, links, locations, all of which tie in with your budget – and all you have to do is take our document and run with it.
We document the project on our social media and on GAFF Interiors with some awesome before and after photos, so if you’re a business looking to increase your awareness, this is a rich and organic way to spread the word and get people excited about your brand. On top of interior design or consultancy, we are also producing makeover videos – chronicling the transformation with some behind the scenes interviews with those involved – if that’s something you’re interested in.
From high street brands to local retailers, we have built up a little black book of important contacts within the realm of interiors. You can pretty much consider us the huns of homewares. We’ve got you.
