We know we rattle on about interiors here, but from time to time we love to get our hands dirty and work on a real-life project that needs the GAFF touch. There’s been Bressie’s Studio, The Nightmarket and now our latest design effort with the Fetch Beauty Pop Up Shop.
The brief from Fetch was simple – create a beautiful space with plenty of storage for a weekend of facials, one-on-one beauty advice and access to the most elite and exclusive skin care brands.
We knew we wanted to be a part of this project the second we snooped on the Fetch Instagram page. Their pink and gold palette is so GAFF. So that’s where we started with the interiors – we sought out these plush pink folding chairs and benches from Sostrene Grene, pink rugs from Littlewoods and a gold drinks trolley from Etsy to get us going.
One of the most exciting parts of the space is the beautiful art deco furniture we sourced from one of our all-time favourite suppliers, Michael Murphy. The Metro High Bookcase, Viggo console table, and these beautiful Huller bar stools are all available from the store. These bigger, heavier, fancy pieces really gave the space a lift and make it feel as though this is a permanent spot instead of a temporary pop up.
We incorporated small elements like framed prints, mixed and matched vases and even a gold tray or two to decorate.
Every pop-up needs an Insta moment, and we created this with the help of a neon sign (thank you, Club Neon) and a floral installation by Mark Grehan from The Garden. If you ask us, his flowers could transform any space and give it new life.
Fetch is open from now until Saturday evening. Check it all out for yourself by clicking here. And let us know what you think of this GAFF-made space!
